YA BASADI means Strong Woman

And that is exactly what we are, a team of three very strong woman.

Our team consists of Kentse Oliphant, Joanne van der Ross and Anet Claassen.

Although we come from different backgrounds we have been working together successfully for many years, building strong relationships. Each of us has a world of experience and knowledge about the industry and now by joining forces under the Petrox Group of Companies umbrella, we can operate as one powerful team in order to expand our horizon.

Our administration office is in Hartenbos (Mossel Bay), Western Cape and our trucks/tankers operate out of Sasolburg, Gauteng. We take pride in our reliable, trustworthy and on-time service, and there is no trip too near or too far for us. Growing our company and customer base by delivering what our customers need, where they need it and when they need it. If any of our customers require “Safe Loading” from another site, we shall gladly engage with the gantry and get the SLP completed.

What It Means

BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) or more accurately Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) is the process by which the government is trying to ensure economic equity amongst race groups.

SQAS (Safety & Quality Assessment for Sustainability) is a system of uniform third party assessments to evaluate the performance of Logistics Service Providers and Chemical Distributors.

SLP (Safe Loading Pass) is an official document associated with the tank inspection for tanker trucks equipped with a bottom loading system. This tank inspection is usually valid for 12 months in South Africa. This certificate shows how safely a tanker truck can be loaded. The Code of Practice manual can be found here.
